Ganache, despite its eloquent French name, is basically a simple
chocolate frosting. It consists of heavy cream and melted chocolate and
is very versatile - it can be used for chocolate sauce and, if you keep
tiny pieces in the fridge, you call roll them into balls later, turning
them into truffles. Once ganache has been applied to your confection,
it is best to store it in a cool place.
